Theatre of Charlotte

This museum was initially designed by a Swiss architect by the name Mario Botta. It hosts a selection of mid-20th century modern works by Calder, Warhol, and Picasso, among other good artists. The collection was assembled by the Bechtler family of Switzerland, who did a great job of bringing this museum into life.

The theatre of Charlotte is a volunteer-based theatre company founded in 1927. This theatre has brought quite the joy in this queen city and has been honored as the Community Theatre of the Year for three years by the North Carolina Theatre Conference.
