Severe weather in Arkansas

Severe weather is rumbling across Arkansas again on Sunday evening and the likelihood of another round of flooding hitting the region is growing quickly. The Razorback state was devastated in early may with record flooding after days of rain pounded the region and led to the Arkansas river overflowing and impacting dozens of communities. Rainfall over ten inches caused levee’s to break in North Little rock and hundreds of properties were damaged as a result.
Today’s storm system will bring fast-moving storms into Central Arkansas. The storm will include damaging winds, heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding. The storm is unwelcome news for property owners who have been struggling to clean up and repair their properties from the flooding early this month. FEMA designated many counties as federal flood disasters.
Service Restoration is a local contractor and has deployed additional crews into Arkansas to assist with flood cleanup in Conway, Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Hot Springs and Searcy.
