This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the assessment, workflow, and completion of construction/rebuild jobs in a manner that will be profitable to the company as well as legitimate to the insurance or payment providers and fair to the customers. The PM-CRB is responsible for managing the quality of work done by employees and subcontractors, including ensuring the job sites remain clean and presentable to the property owners. The PM-CRB is responsible for ensuring proper safety measures are implemented to provide the highest level of safety to the employees, subcontractors, property owners, and anyone else coming on or near the construction/rebuild site. The PM-CRB ensures the company will receive appropriate compensation for each job by providing exceptional budgeting including assessing each job, collaborating with the Estimator position, coordinating with the company staff, subcontractors, vendors, insurance companies, clients and others to facilitate the efficiency and profitability of each job from start to finish. This position may follow up to collect and receive payment from various parties at various stages of the job. This position is essential to coordinate the operational, administrative, and financial viability of jobs on an individual basis.

Reports To: General Manager-Construction/Rebuild (GM-CRB)

Supervises: Crew Chief-Construction/Rebuild (CC-CRB); Technician II-Craftsman/Carpenter (Tech II-CM-CRB); Technician I-Handyman (Tech I-HM-CRB)

JOB PURPOSE/Position Overview

Service Restoration is headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota and has multiple locations across the United States. Service Restoration is a rapidly expanding company offering many opportunities.

➢ Brief Position Overview: The PM-CRB position is responsible for performing all aspects of the overall planning, scheduling, and organization of production on construction/rebuild projects, including tasks and duties related to managing the employees, tooling, inventory, vehicles, vendor and client relationship, administrative; and any other duties as required to see the project from start to satisfactory completion

Typical Weekly Schedule

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday day to evening shifts; however, often may include nights, weekends, and some holidays.

SCOPE AND RANGE

This is a full-time, regular, hourly management position, which performs the majority of work in the field to complete on-site assessments, project planning, staff deployment, project execution, and follow-up, as well as other duties and tasks required to see the job from beginning through to completion. This position may also perform administrative duties in an office setting, such as hiring, scheduling, phone calls, and other tasks and duties as required to perform the functions required of the position. The work is often manual labor, with occasional non-manual labor. The job is primarily related to the management and coordination of projects essential to the viability of the general business operations and directly related to the customer. The employee will have the primary duty of exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of job completion from start to finish, which is a significant matter to the success of the company.

Secondarily, this position manages a project subdivision of the Construction and Rebuild Department. This position regularly directs and collaborates with the General Manager, Estimators, Project coordinators, Crew Chiefs, Technicians both Level I and Level II; and this position holder’s suggestion and recommendations as to matters concerning hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or change of status of the Crew Chief, Techs I and II, is given a particular weight in the decision-making process.
