The Mint Museum Uptown: Exciting Exhibits in Charlotte, NC

The Mint Museum Uptown is a major art museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Mint was originally built as the Mint Museum of Art when it opened in 1936 and was located at Independence Square. In 1983, the Mint moved to its current location uptown on Mint Street. Today, the Mint houses over 17,000 square feet of exhibition space for modern and contemporary artwork with rotating exhibitions every two months. Charlotte, NC  can be seen here.
