Initial Assessment and Contract Signing
Once you notify us of your property damage restoration needs, we will deploy a highly trained team of individuals to scope the project, document the damage, and begin collecting information.
Understanding what caused the damage, taking photographs, measurements, and notes will help our estimators build estimates that are accurate and thorough. Collecting your insurance information will help expedite the communication between our team and your provider.
We will sign a contract called the Work Authorization agreement. This will act as a contract between you and Service Restoration, while also showing your insurance carrier that you have chosen Service Restoration to perform the restoration work needed at your property.
If your property has a need for fire damage restoration or water damage restoration, as shown by the following pictures, calling Service Restoration immediately can help minimize secondary damage, eliminate a confusing insurance process, and begin restoration work immediately.
Work Begins
Upon signing the Work Authorization, our team can immediately begin mitigating the damage to your property. A Project Coordinator will be assigned to your file to handle communication with you throughout your restoration process.
For Fire Damage Cleanup & Restoration, this may entail temporary repairs, contents restoration & removal, and water remediation services. The fire damage process is extensive due to the amount of structural damage that can occur, as well as the smoke & soot damage that can affect many other parts of the property.
For Water Damage Cleanup & Restoration or Sewage Cleanup, standing water will be extracted and removed from the premises. Contents (furniture, clothing, heirlooms, rugs, etc.) will be moved to a dry area or can be cleaned & stored in our off-site storage facility.
Your Project Coordinator will begin communicating with you, the insurance company, and any other involved parties to ensure each person is in the loop.
The Billing Process
Our meticulous documentation process ensures you and Service Restoration are both made whole for the services performed. Our billing process is detail oriented, meaning we bill for each piece of work performed and equipment used. This means we do not and cannot bill for work that was never performed.
Our estimating team uses industry standard software to recreate the floor plan of your structure, enter the work performed on a line item basis, and then will submit this to your insurance provider.
Service Restoration has done this process thousands of times – that’s not an exaggeration – we have experience! This experience and knowledge helps us remove the burden from you during a difficult time. We do everything in our power to work directly with your insurance in regard to billing. Sometimes, we may need your help to keep the process moving along, but we will keep you in the loop and let you know.
Additional Offerings & Next Steps
Service Restoration is proud to offer Contents Restoration and Rebuild Services to our valued customers. As we have continued to grow, we have continued adding service offerings with a goal to become a one-stop shop. Our belief is that disaster restoration services are confusing enough, that having to have multiple contractors involved to get your property back to pre-damaged condition increases that confusion.
Our company was founded with extensive commercial and residential construction experience, including libraries, schools, government facilities, and multi-family, strip-malls, and all commercial construction. Using that knowledge has not only allowed us to better perform the water mitigation service we offer, as we understand how and where the water can travel to, but also to give comfort to property owners that this isn’t our first rodeo rebuilding or renovating residential and commercial structures.
Content Cleaning & Restoration is a service we provide to salvage as many of your belongings as possible. Our industrial grade cleaning machines allow for us to salvage many contents. We’ll let you know if there are items that are un-cleanable or too far damaged to save. Additionally, as part of our commitment to being a well-rounded disaster restoration company, we can store your belongings while your property is restored to it’s former condition.
Our Commitment
As an IICRC-certified we are committed to providing best in class restoration services and completing your project correctly the first time.
We aim to minimize the disruption whenever possible so that you may continue your life and business while we perform our services. Sometimes we will be unable to accommodate certain requests due to our goal of minimizing damage.
Service Restoration is focused on being customer-centric. We can’t continue to build a stellar reputation without continuing our high level of service. We thank you for trusting us with your property.
